How do I get the best out of aromatherapy oils?
I have some oil burners at home and have bought some fragrance oils for burning. The sales ppl told me to drop the oil 1 2 drops into water and light the tea light. However, after a while, the water starts boiling but the scent of the oil doesn't come out at all. Am I doing something wrong? I've tried a variety of oils but they have the same effect. Whats the best aromatherapy essential oil to use for handmade soap?
I was planning on making a small batch. Wondering what other soapers have liked in the way of aromatherapy essential oils as oppossed to perfume fragrance oil.I know a lot of them aren't suitable for handmade soap because of the termperature or expense. I was thinking of orange, patchouli or cedar.Any suggestions?Thanks all be wellTink
Will the person get poisoned after i put aromatherapy oil in their toothpaste?
man, i thought it was that fluoride thing i was supposed to put in the toothpaste but i put the oil instead help if someone used it, what effects might happen?? i cant get the dang toothpaste back cuz she brought it with her. man, i screwed up. heeelpthough i doubt she swallows the it. i mean, who swallows toothpaste anyway. i left her a message already. hope she gets it before she uses it. will ur stomach hurt though?

The client uses oils at home but they tend to be irritating to her skin. She may also be pregnant.On advising the client of the contraindications she has since carried out a test and is not pregnant.Any suggestions as to how i would compose a consultation and treatment plan for her.??
Aromatherapy during pregnancy: jasmine?
anyone with knowledge of aromatherapy or herbs during pregnancy? i've heard that in women susceptible to miscarriage the essential oil jasmine should be avoided. i'm almost 25 weeks and wondering if drinking one cup of jasmine white tea will negatively effect the baby or cause early labor?
